Our facility will resume elective surgeries, with permission from our local health department, as of May 11, 2020. Our main goal, as always, is to ensure the safety of our patients, staff, and health care professionals. In order to achieve this goal, you may notice some changes within our facility as well as our admission protocols.

We will require preoperative COVID-19 nasal swab testing for all patients undergoing procedures at our facility. These instructions will be detailed in your preoperative admission email as well.

Upon arrival to our facility, you will be required to check in at the rear entrance. A registered nurse will be available to collect the following:

  1. Identification
  2. Take your temperature
  3. Screen for respiratory symptoms
  4. Verify your preoperative nasal swab results
  5. Contact information for your postoperative caretaker in order to confirm your approximate pick up time

You will be issued a mask and should approach the front entrance with your symptom intake form. A mask must be worn at all times while inside the facility.

At this time, we will not allow visitors or vendors onsite in order to minimize potential risk of infection. If the patient is a minor, we will discuss appropriate protocol with the patient’s guardian directly.

We have enhanced our facility cleaning protocols and can assure that all precautions will be taken to ensure that your safety is our utmost concern.

If you have any questions regarding your upcoming procedure, please do not hesitate to contact our facility. We look forward to providing you with quality care.
